Can SQR Runner be configured to load the previous files opened or start with no files at all?
Under Options|General|Application you will find the settings for restoring and saving the current workplace, i.e. the names of the current open files. In order to let SQR Runner always load the same files that were open during the last session, the option Save (checkbox named "S") has to be checked. If SQR Runner should ignore the last workplace files the next time it starts, just un-check the "Restore" option (checkbox named "R").
Clicking a SQR in the Explorer causes Notepad to edit the file. How can I tell the system to start SQR Runner with the selected file?
Under Options|General|Associated Extensions you can have SQR Runner getting started automatically with either SQR's and/or SQC's.
If I want to start a SQR, the program tells me to enter a database-name. Where do I set this up?
On the page "Run SQR" multiple logins are available for customisation. A login contains settings for a database, user and the SQR-specific arguments. Before any SQR can be executed, at least one valid login has to be entered and selected.
The SQR is not running correctly or SQR errors occur, as a file/include could not be found?
The login may not contain the correct search path argument (see flag "-i") or the installed SQR version does not correspond to the existing database-system.
When selecting an include from the Include-list the file is not loaded although it exists?
Check the current login for the right search-path setting. The order for the search is the current SQR directory and then all directories entered in the login (SQR flags; flag "-i").
How can I manage loading a group of files?
Please edit projects under the menu "Projects|Edit Projects". A project is a set of files, that can be (re-) loaded and saved at any time.
Why is no syntax-highlighting active after loading large files?
The larger files are the more time the syntax-highlighting processing takes. Therefore files over 8,000 lines are loaded without syntax-highlighting. Please choose the menu "Highlighting" and select "SQR" to re-activate it.
The navigation pane is not responding when pressing the update/refresh-buttons?

Why does not the program flow display anything?

The items under the "Tools" menu do not start or produce an error message?
The current login settings probably have not been set up with the correct SQR installation directory or PeopleSoft release/profile. Otherwise check under Options|General|PeopleSoft environment the correct path for the installed PeopleSoft package and/or the correct SQR installation directory.
