SQR Runner » FTP Integration
Right from the Navigation Pane files may be downloaded via FTP either for editing into the editor or to a specific location.
The configuration allows to maintain multiple FTP hosts, each with it's own descriptive name, local/remote start directory and filename conversion mode ("Case Rule").
Besides most common FTP servers also connecting to MVS hosts is supported.
Note: Up to version 4.3.81 the SQR Runner only supports regular FTP protocol. Secure FTP protocols such as SFTP and FTP+SSL are to be supported soon.
Remote files are stored locally for editing and are indicated by it's filename as in the window title.
Example:

Whenever a remote file is saved, the SQR Runner will prompt to upload the file again onto the server.
Below example shows an active FTP session to host "SQR-Runner" and an imaginary folder:

Menu FTP Integration (client window)
During editing sessions the FTP inside the Navigation Pane is surely the most convenient way to use.
For purposes of copying multiple files across a remote host to and from the local machine the SQR Runner also offers a full FTP dialog, accessable by the "File" main menu:

Directly from the menu any configured FTP host may be opened to explore, a specific remote file be downloaded or uploaded and of course all FTP connections may be maintained.
